LCS™ Closes on $38 Million Refinancing for CCRC
May 18 , 2011 - LCS™ announced that it has acquired the management agreements of three senior living communities in the Carolinas previously managed by Banyan Senior Living. This was accomplished through an assignment agreement among all parties. Banyan Senior Living of Greenville, S.C., and the three managed communities reached the decision to assign the communities’ management agreements to Life Care Services effective June 1, 2011. Ken Bolt, founder of Banyan Senior Living in 1987, is now an employee of Life Care Services. Click here to read the press release.

Life Care Services LLC Acquires CRSA
May 5, 2010 - Life Care Services LLC (LCS) and CRSA Holding, Inc. (CRSA) have finalized an agreement by which LCS has acquired the assets of CRSA, effective immediately. Ed Kenny, President and CEO of Life Care Services LLC, Named Board Chair of ASHA
Ed Kenny, president and CEO of Life Care Services LLC, has taken on the role of board chair for the American Seniors Housing Association (ASHA) board of directors. Kenny, a 30-year veteran of Life Care Services and the senior living services field, also serves on the boards of directors for Children and Families of Iowa and Hoyt Sherman Place, and is an appointed member of the National Investment Center Operator Advisory Board. ASHA represents 350 companies that own and manage more than 600,000 senior living units nationwide. The organization provides leadership for the senior housing industry on legislative and regulatory matters, advances research and educational opportunities and facilitates the exchange of strategic business information.
