The Delaney at The Vale Opens to Welcome New Residents
LCS, the nation’s third-largest senior living provider, has announced the completion of The Delaney at The Vale, a 62+ upscale senior living community located in Woburn, Massachusetts. The community includes three connected buildings with 103 apartments for independent seniors, 84 assisted living apartments, and 36 memory care apartments. The community opened for residents on Feb. 13, 2024.
“We are excited to welcome our first 20 Founding Members to their new homes in the coming weeks,” said Executive Director Amy Murray. “The response to the Delaney at The Vale has been incredible as our residents pursue a community where they can be active, grow, and thrive in their retirement. We offer that and so much more and are eager for our residents to begin experiencing all that The Vale has to offer.”
The high-end amenities at the community include concierge services, gourmet meals in multiple dining venues, state-of-the-art fitness and wellness options, two salons, a crafts studio, theatre, and underground parking. In addition to The Delaney, The Vale also offers new retail and office space, new landscaped areas and walking paths, preservation of 28 acres of undeveloped land, restoration of nearly 15,000 sq. ft. of wetlands as well as a new connection between the site and the existing Tri-Community Greenway.
“The Delaney at The Vale is an exciting new community for LCS,” said Tom Mathisen, Senior Vice President for LCS Development. “Expanding our presence in New England continues to be a goal for our company, and this community is a showcase of the incredible value the LCS Family of Companies brings to develop a community that will serve residents for generations to come.”
The Delaney is managed by Life Care Services®, An LCS® Company, which was recently recognized in the J.D. Power 2023 U.S. Senior Living Satisfaction Study for the fifth consecutive year as #1 in Resident Satisfaction among Independent Senior Living Communities and #1 in Customer Satisfaction among Assisted Living/Memory Care Communities. The awards make Life Care Services the most awarded Senior Living Provider in the nation.
The Delaney at The Vale was designed by Boston-based architect DiMella Shaffer, who has been designing senior living communities for over 30 years. The project was led by LCS Development, with The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company as builder, and interior design by StudioSIX5.
