U.S. News & World Report Names 50 Life Care Services Communities to 2024 Best Senior Living Rankings

Apr 16, 2024
Only the highest-rated communities in each care level earned a “Best” rating.

Life Care Services, An LCS Company, has announced that 50 of its communities have earned the highest possible rating in U.S. News & World Report’s 2024 Best Senior Living list.  Each community was named as “a best” in one of the U.S News categories: independent living, assisted living, memory care, and continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs), with many achieving recognition across multiple categories. The communities that received recognition are either wholly owned by LCS or managed by Life Care Services.

For its 2024 Best Senior Living ratings, U.S. News rated nearly 3,500 communities on several criteria, including resident and family members’ satisfaction with safety, care, community management and staff, value, and other services and amenities provided by the community.

“We are honored to have so many communities recognized by U.S. News & World Report as truly the best in senior living,” said Chris Bird, LCS President and Chief Operating Officer. “LCS is privileged to serve nearly 40,000 seniors across the nation, and this recognition is especially meaningful when our residents and their families recognize the quality amenities and satisfaction they have in their communities.”

U.S. News awards the designation of “Best Senior Living” only to those communities that satisfy U.S. News’ statistical assessment of performance on consumer satisfaction surveys administered in the previous two calendar years, reflecting the viewpoints of more than 400,000 residents and family members. Only the highest-rated communities in each care level earned a “Best” rating.
