Aging Media Network Names Kyle Exline to the 2023 Class of Future Senior Housing Leaders
Life Care Services, An LCS Company, announced Kyle Exline, director of operations management, has been named to the 2023 class of Future Senior Living Leaders by Aging Media Network. The award recognizes dynamic leaders who are laying the foundation for a bright future in care delivery and aging.
Exline began his career with Life Care Services in 2008 as the associate administrator of The Heritage of Brentwood in Brentwood, TN. Since then, he has had an impressive impact at every community and role he has been placed in – improving occupancy, expanding operations, leading new development, and managing large communities and their teams. As the executive director of The Clare, a 53-story for-profit CCRC in downtown Chicago, he improved community-wide occupancy from 37% to 97% and grew annual operating revenue from $12M in 2013 to $30M in 2021. He also reduced turnover to 25% annually, helped The Clare receive the Chicago Tribune “Top Work Places” in 2021, and received the Holleran Highest Honors award for employee engagement in 2018.
His experience and strong track record led to a promotion to director of operations management in 2022 to oversee the daily operation of seven communities ranging from not-for-profit life plan, not-for-profit rental, for-profit rental, and a for-profit brokerage company.
Exline has also stretched his learning across the globe as a member of the Chicago Sister City delegation with Shanghai. This experience led him to visit Shanghai – and host the Shanghai delegation stateside - to share senior housing best practices with his global counterparts and enhance cultural understanding.
At LCS, he has been heavily involved in various LCS committees including the 2023 LCS Leadership Summit leadership team and serving as the co-chair for the LCS Diversity and Inclusion Council where he helped to establish new employee resource groups, as well as chairing the LCS Resident Advisory Council – a group critical piloting new, innovative services, and products for residents related to innovation, research and quality of life.
Exline graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Healthcare Administration from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs.
Exline will be formally recognized during the BUILD Conference in Orlando on November 15-16. Visit Senior Housing News using this link to read a Q&A interview with Exline and learn more about the Future Leaders Class of 2023.
