LCS Development Leads Project for Michigan Senior Living Community

Placement of final structural beam signifies progress
LCS Development reached a milestone in the expansion project it manages at Burcham Hills, a senior living community in East Lansing, Michigan. A ceremonial beam was installed in the campus’ new 44-apartment independent living building. The milestone beam lists charter club members, community leaders and construction partners.
Progress on the community’s expansion remains on schedule and budget, despite the pandemic stalling construction, slowing supply delivery and impacting staffing. With the final beam in place, construction of the building will continue with siding, roofing and interior finishes. The project is scheduled for completion in late fall of this year.
LCS Development is overseeing the development, architectural and interior design, sales and construction of the project, in addition to coordinating efforts with local suppliers and vendors. The phased expansion project is part of the master plan collaborated with Burcham Hill board members to strategically position the community for future success.
Burcham Hills is a Life Plan Community managed by Life Care Services, An LCS Company.
