LCS has announced the promotion of Dawn Ruppel to a new position, Vice President of Sales Operations, effective July 1, 2025. In this new role, Ruppel will work closely with the chief sales officer, executive team, business development, and sales and marketing leaders to develop, drive, and elevate enterprise-wide sales strategies. As a seasoned industry professional with more than 25 years of experience in senior living, Ruppel brings deep expertise and a proven track record of success to this expanded leadership role.

“Dawn has played a pivotal role in shaping strategic direction across our organization, leading community marketing initiatives and driving sales growth throughout her career,” said Jim Pusateri, Chief Sales Officer at LCS. “Her deep industry knowledge and genuine passion for senior living have consistently driven performance, elevated reputation scores, and fostered the growth of high-performing teams. She’s the right leader to guide our sales operations into the future.”

Ruppel began her career with LCS in 2008 at an LCS-managed community and officially joined the LCS corporate team in 2013. As her responsibilities grew, she led strategic oversight for more than 47 third-party managed communities, working closely with LCS leadership to shape marketing initiatives and drive sales strategies. Most recently, as Vice President of Marketing and Sales, her 2024 portfolio achieved 115% of budgeted sales and 122% of closing goals, while Independent Living occupancy increased to 94.6%—a 5% year-over-year gain. She has also supported the growth of the teams she supports by mentoring rising leaders through the LCS sales training program, contributing to numerous team promotions, and the creation of new educational resources.

Ruppel holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Akron
