LCS Training and Development Programs Recognized with Training Magazine’s 2025 APEX Award

In recognition of its best-in-class employee training and development programs, LCS has received a 2025 APEX Award from Training Magazine. LCS is one of only 95 companies worldwide – and the only senior living company – to receive the annual award to recognize organizations that excel at training and human capital development.
“We are proud to receive this honorable award that recognizes our deep commitment to investing in our people,” said Annette Jorden, LCS Director of Talent Development. “Our programs are tailored to the needs of our employees, and ensure they have the tools and resources to grow and thrive at every level of their careers.”
LCS has built a culture where training and development are prioritized and valued. Some of the LCS’ training programs that led to the APEX award include:
- A suite of leadership development programs tailored to aspiring, high-potential, and established leaders.
- Community employee training through professional development programs, and on-site leadership and sales training.
- A unique journey map that connects all employees to the LCS vision and strategy.
- A commitment to ongoing development through onboarding, new courses and mentorship opportunities.
“In the senior living industry, care and connection are paramount,” said Monica Friedman, LCS EVP/Chief Human Resources Officer. “Our focus on training and development not only sets us apart but also strengthens our award-winning culture and solidifies our position as an employer of choice.”
The Training APEX Awards are determined by assessing a range of qualitative and quantitative factors, including financial investment in employee development, the scope of development programs, how closely such development efforts are linked to business goals and objectives, and their effectiveness in terms of behavior change and impact.
“The 2025 Training APEX Awards winners have earned a special place in the rich history of Training magazine’s celebration of stellar human capital development over the last 25 years,” notes Training Editor/Publisher Lorri Freifeld. “As we mark this silver jubilee anniversary, we applaud their impressive achievements in and steadfast commitment to employee learning and development over the past year. We are proud to recognize these champions of training.”
LCS will receive its award on February 17, 2025, at the Training APEX Awards Gala held during the 2025 Training 2025 Conference & Expo in Orlando, FL.
