Life Care Services Ranked Highest in Customer Satisfaction and #1 in All Seven Factors in J.D. Power 2019 U.S. Senior Living Study

Life Care Services ranked #1 in all seven ranking factors by J.D. Power for senior living communities

We couldn’t be happier that Life Care Services®, An LCS® Company, was ranked highest in customer satisfaction among senior living communities in the J.D. Power study. In a very competitive field, we scored a full 49 index points above the next-highest performing senior living organization.

The rankings were determined by surveys taken by residents, family members and friends of seniors living in independent living, assisted living, or memory care communities nationwide. In the words of LCS president and CEO Joel Nelson, “Our company is privileged to serve nearly 35,000 seniors across the nation. The J.D. Power award represents the voice of the senior living customer, and I can’t think of a more important voice than that of the residents we serve.”

The award for Highest in Customer Satisfaction among Senior Living Communities, encompasses seven individual resident-experience factors. We’re excited to say that, not only did Life Care Services win the overall category, but we also ranked highest within each of the seven factors:

  • Resident Services and Activities
  • Community Staff
  • Food and Beverage
  • New Resident Orientation
  • Resident Cost
  • Community and Grounds
  • Resident Apartment Unit

Each of these factors can be broken down even further into countless interactions between residents and staff, who go above and beyond to form meaningful connections in the spirit of service. The results demonstrate that Life Care Services fosters a culture in which Experience Is Everything™. When someone trusts one of our communities with their wellbeing or the wellbeing of a loved one, we take every opportunity to serve them well.

How Did We Distinguish Ourselves?

Dedicated staff: Our staff are at the top of their fields. They care deeply about the residents serve. They’re attentive and friendly and emphasize clear communication with both residents and their loved ones.
